PreK Nature Class - Fish

February 21, 2012

One fish...two fish...red fish...blue fish! Join us from 10:30 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. at this month's Pre-K nature class about fish. We will study fish parts and learn a fish fin song.  We will examine a live fish in a fishbowl and do some Gyotaku  (fish printing).

In this series, designed specifically for children aged 3 ½ to 7 years, participants will have the opportunity to explore different nature topics from 10:30 to 2:00.  Each class will include a story, craft, song and/or a game.  Sign up for one or all classes.

Participants should dress for the weather (we will go outside, if possible) and bring a lunch and a beverage.  In the spirit of sustainability, we encourage participants to use reusable containers.  $18.50 Boise resident, $28.13 Non-resident.  Register on-line at https://bprwebtrac.cityofboise.org/wbwsc/webtrac.wsc/wbsplash.html. Select "Browse Activities", then  Boise Watershed from the dropdown menu.  All classes take place at the Boise WaterShed Environmental Education Center.
