Volunteer

Thanks for your interest in volunteering for the Boise Environmental Education Program at the Foothills Learning Center. Volunteers are essential to sharing our message of stewardship.

Program and Volunteer Opportunities include:
Environmental Education
Service Learning
Second Saturday Family Programs
Lesson preparation
Garden maintenance

Our education volunteers assist in leading lessons for school groups and community groups both on-site at the Learning Center and in Treasure Valley classrooms. Lessons are grade specific and include topics such as recycling, composting, habitat, camouflage and more. Training is required for all volunteers. Length of training depends on the programs in which you will participate. Opportunities allow volunteers to have a flexible schedule or a more regular commitment.
