Boise WaterShed

Watershed

The Boise WaterShed Environmental Education Center promotes water stewardship through high-tech, hands-on exhibits that are sure to make a splash! Located at the West Boise Wastewater Treatment Facility, the LEED-certified building also features a library, a theater/community room, and amazing artwork.

Visitors may drop-in during normal business hours to explore the exhibit hall and outdoor art. Groups of 10 or more people may request free tours and lessons that engage students with hands-on activities and visits to the Boise River or nearby ponds. We also offer free programs every third Saturday of each month that showcase thematic presentations and hands-on activities from our community partners. A public wastewater tour is also offered.

If you can't come to our place, we can come to yours. We offer free outreach programs for organizations located in Boise, Garden City, and Eagle.

The Boise WaterShed is a partnership between the Boise Public Works Department and the non-profit organization, Boise WaterShed Exhibits, Inc
