Watershed Weekend Events

Watershed Weekend programs provide visitors an opportunity to learn about water and watershed stewardship. Go with the flow to the Boise WaterShed every third Saturday of each month for fun and activities the whole family can enjoy. Activities and crafts take place from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., followed by a wastewater treatment plant tour from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. WaterShed Weekend programs are always FREE and no pre-registration is required unless otherwise noted.

During our WaterShed Weekend programs visitors of all ages can attend a Wastewater Treatment Plant Tour beginning at 1 p.m. in the Boise WaterShed Theater. The tour offers a close-up view into the industrial process of wastewater treatment. Note: Closed-toe shoes are required for the tour. Tours may be cancelled if snow or ice is on the ground.
