Education Center Hours:
Monday - Friday, 9:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
Saturdays (June 10 - August 19), 10:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.
Every third Saturday (WaterShed Weekends) from 10:00 a.m - 1:00 p.m.
Visitors can stop by for self-guided Exhibit Hall tours and River Campus tours during normal business hours. Water Renewal Facility tours are offered on WaterShed Weekend program days at 11:30 a.m. and every Wednesday during the summer at 11:00 a.m.
New Year’s Day, Martin Luther King Day, President’s Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Veterans Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day.

Groups of 10 or more people must make a reservation at least two weeks in advance. Reservations are available on first come - first served basis. Please note that available lesson times fill up quickly! Contact us for group reservations. Individuals and families do not need to make a reservation.

Hyatt Hidden Lakes Reserve Lessons
Lessons for groups of 10 or more people are provided at the Hyatt Hidden Lakes Reserve (also known as the Hyatt Wetlands). The City park is located at the corner of Chinden Blvd. and Maple Grove Road.
ValleyRide Bus Lines
ValleyRide offers bus service near the Boise WaterShed Environmental Education Center. Visitors can take the #8 Chinden/Five Mile bus route and be dropped off at the bus stop near Hewlett Packard. From Hewlett Packard, visitors can walk down Joplin hill to Boise WaterShed (estimated time: 20 minutes).
The Boise WaterShed is accessible to wheelchairs and strollers. The Wastewater Treatment Plant tour has limited wheelchair access and does not allow strollers.
The Theater is available for group meetings Monday – Friday. Use of the Exhibit Hall is included with the Theater. Call to inquire about our Theater policy and availability.
