The iconic foothills in Boise contains miles and miles of trails, wildlife and native plants – but have you ever wondered about the unique geology the surrounds us? Join us for a 2-3-mile hike to discuss the geology with the Idaho Museum of Mining and Geology. Please bring your water bottle, comfortable shoes and sunscreen. Meet at Fort Boise, transportation to Boise Foothills trailhead provided.


Whether you're new to Boise or a lifelong resident, join us for our adult education series to explore and learn more about where we live … the Boise River Watershed. You'll stay active while learning from experts in our watershed. $15 per person. Refreshments provided.
