Zoo Boise connects visitors with animals to inspire and involve you in the conservation of wildlife worldwide. Zoo Boise experiences can feature a variety of activities that may include: close-up animal encounters, hands-on activities, in-depth investigations, games, art projects, creating a diet or enrichment treat for a zoo animal, and participating in wildlife conservation.
Education Programs are available for children, families, adults, schools, youth groups, teens, Scout groups, toddlers, preschool, homeschool, teachers, and more!
Zoo Boise offers unique volunteer opportunities for those looking to get more involved. Whether interpreting exhibits, assisting animal care staff, aiding with education programs, greeting guests, helping with special events, or executing special zoo projects, volunteers are a crucial part of turning the act of visiting the Zoo into a conservation action.
Part of every admission and proceeds from the most popular attractions go to the Zoo Boise Conservation Fund which supports the protection of wild animals in Idaho and around the world.
